Eternally United (United Trilogy #3) by Hank's Lady

In this final piece of the United Trilogy, Jacob and Edward are blissfully happy and enjoying married life when a horrific event changes both of their lives forever. Will this tear them apart for good or will their second chance at love overcome their new obstacles?

After Reunited ended, I was ecstatic to learn that there would be more to Edward and Jacob's story. However, after reading the summary, I was very apprehensive. Angst was on the way and the boys had already been through so much, but I'm sure that the events that take place in this story will bring them closer together. It's still in its early stages, so I can't wait to see what happens! Definitely check this story out, especially if you've read United We Fall and Reunited.*

Eternally United is not a stand alone story and should be read only after reading United We Fall and Reunited first.

Reunited (United Trilogy #2) by Hank's Lady

Reunited (United Trilogy #2) by Hank's Lady - COMPLETE

Nearly 100 years after the sad events of United We Fall, a reincarnated Edward and Jacob meet when they are assigned as roommates their first year of college. Both young men sense something oddly familiar about the other, but are too shy to say anything out of fear of freaking each other out. Slowly, but surely, the two opposites form a great friendship. As their friendship strengthens, so do their memories of the past. Will Edward and Jacob be able to rekindle the loving relationship that was so tragically stolen from them a century earlier or will they allow fear and confusion to get in the way?

After my heart was broken at the end of United We Fall, I was so happy to read this sequel! The slow progression of Edward and Jacob's relationship was delightfully sweet and heartwarming. They both supported each other through tough times and were able to build upon the feelings and relationship they shared in the past. If you liked United We Fall, you definitely need to read this sequel!*

Reunited is not a stand alone story. In order to fully understand what's going on, it's highly recommended that you read United We Fall first.

Something Just for Me by Twilightobsessed09

Something Just for Me by Twilightobsessed09

As the son of wealthy and powerful parents, who are prominent in society, Jasper has been forced to hide who he truly is. Although he's come out to his parents, they ignore his sexuality and brush it off, fearing their reputations and livelihood would be destroyed. One night, Jasper finds himself in a part of town known as an easy place to pick up prostitutes. He's never done anything like this before, but is immediately drawn to a gorgeous young man on the corner. Jasper hesitantly picks up the troubled man, Edward. This experience is different for Edward. Although he is selling himself, Jasper treats Edward with respect, something other Johns lacked.

Jasper continues to frequent Edward's corner, but soon realizes his feelings run deeper than just the physical. Edward has some pretty major baggage of his own, but is enamored by the man who treats him like he's special, worthy and good.

This story is awesome! I was immediately sucked into the world Twilightobsessed09 created and find myself wanting to know more and more about these complex men, both of whom are hiding their true selves for one reason or another. As the story progresses, the plot continues to thicken to the point that I wait anxiously for the next chapter. Twilightobsessed09 has created characters, both primary and secondary, that are very flawed, but also interesting, likeable and all around good. Jacob and Tanya are two stand outs as the best friends of Jasper and Edward respectively.

Please give this incredible story a try! I highly recommend it!

Sweet Young Thing by naelany

Sweet Young Thing by naelany

Carlisle knows real love. He shared an incredible life with his partner, Liam, but sadly lost him when he passed away. When he meets Edward, who is half his age, he experiences conflicting feelings: part of him loves spending time with the young man, but the other part is self-conscious about their age difference and all the potential problems that could create. Will Carlisle and Edward be able to look past that one aspect of their lives or will it prevent them from experiencing true happiness?

I absolutely adore this story! Carlisle is an interesting character. He's passionate and strong, but also has quite a vulnerable side, especially when it comes to his relationship with Edward and his feelings. Edward is a unicorn: that perfect guy who not only has a great head on his shoulders, but also knows what he wants at pretty young age. I wish I'd been that together in my early twenties! lol The way Carlisle and Edward's relationship develops is so sweet and true-to-life that I couldn't help but root for them. Even though age seems to be an issue to Carlisle and a couple other characters, I never noticed it. They were just men getting to know each other and establishing a lovely friendship and romance.

I also have to mention the character, Randall. He was a great addition to the story who supports both Carlisle and Edward and, in some instances, stole the show.

I highly recommend this wonderful story!

A Night in the Woods by wolfboy19

A Night in the Woods by wolfboy19

Seth is frustrated and mad at the world. His only solace is phasing and running to the one being who can make him feel better: Emmett.

This is a short, but sweet story about two people finding comfort in each other. As always, Seth is a total sweetheart and Emmett is so gentle with him. This is primarily one moment in time for the couple and consists of a sex scene, but if you look a little closer, you'll see a real connection between the wolf and vampire; and that connection is really quite lovely.

Worthwhile by dragontattoo75

Worthwhile by dragontattoo75

A weekend getaway in the woods sounds like a great time for Jasper and his friends. However, when his best friend's older brother, Edward, decides to tag along, Jasper knows the next couple of days will be more uncomfortable than enjoyable. Jasper has had a crush on the enigmatic man since he was young, but never pursued anything because he's not yet out of the closet and because Edward is older and way out of his league. When the weekend gets underway, Jasper makes some startling, yet welcome, discoveries.

If you ever want to truly feel the emotions of the characters in a story, Worthwhile is perfect for you. Jasper's nervousness, desire, fear, and confusion were so wonderful palpable throughout this entire story. The UST, mild angst and sweet fluff were perfectly balanced, so I didn't feel overwhelmed or bogged down by any one feeling. This story is highly recommended!

Scent and a Sound by sapphirescribe

Scent and a Sound by sapphirescribe

Riley has a secret admirer. This person leaves sweet notes on his windshield whenever he's in class, but they're harmless, so Riley doesn't really pay them any mind. Soon after he meets a delicious hunk of a man at a frat party with whom he's completely enamored. Emmett is different, but those things don't matter when he treats Riley so well. When the secret admirer goes from sweet to creepy, Emmett is determined to protect Riley at all costs. Little does Riley know that life as he knows it, is about to change.

Okay, this story was sooooo good. It had romance, UST, suspense and hot sex....everything you could ever need in story! I don't want to give anything away, so you'll just have to read this one shot for yourself; however, I'm sure you will find yourself drawn into the story and the characters' lives very quickly. Check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Accidental Connection by Taloolah P

Accidental Connection by Taloolah P

After being involved in a terrifying car accident, which left his best friend, Alice, in a coma, Jasper sits numbly in the hospital waiting room desperately hoping for good news. When Alice's sexy doctor reveals that everything will be fine, Jasper is overjoyed. However, Dr. Cullen feels more than joy towards the handsome man in front of him. He's determined to make him his.

Yum! This story is so good! The UST between Jasper and Carlisle is red hot and left me wanting more. I could almost feel the electricity thrumming between the two of them! I'm sure you'll feel the same way. :)

Chances Taken by tattedheart

Chances Taken by tattedheart

Since the beginning of summer, Edward has watched a gorgeous man run along the beach with his dog each morning. He wants to say something, but his extreme social anxiety prevents him from doing so. He's content to watch the handsome stranger and slip into his fantasy world where he writes about characters he wishes he could be.

Emmett notices the shy man who daily sits on his deck and drinks coffee shortly after he moves to town. Each day he wishes they could have a conversation, but  he hasn't quite built up the nerve. With a new resolve, Emmett is more determined that ever to get to know the beautiful man.

To call this story beautiful would be an understatement. Chances Taken just made me feel good; warmed from the inside. The tentative interaction between Emmett and Edward is charming and innocent, and the slow development of their relationship is quite lovely. I would highly recommend this story for anyone in the mood for an old-fashioned romance that will leave a big smile on your face.

Book Review: Geoff's Teddy (Synchronous Seductions #3) by Havan Fellows

In the next book in the Synchronous Seductions series, Ritchie's assistant, Geoff, finds the man of his dreams in the burly bear of a man, Fuzzy, one of Emery's top employees. After a night of revelations and firsts, the two men develop a deep connection. Fuzzy has always been a ladies man, but something about the adorable dark-eyed man has him mesmerized.

I thought this was an extremely sweet story and really enjoyed it! Both Fuzzy and Geoff are very like able characters that I rooted for every step of the way. The GFY angle was done in such a way that didn't seem too cliched or make me want to roll my eyes. This story definitely provided the deep, emotional aspect that its predecessor, Emery's Ritches, lacked. It was nice to see all of the couples from the books come together and I hope to see more from them in the future!

It's not 100% necessary to read the two previous books in the series, but I would highly recommend doing so because you may find yourself a little confused and lost, especially when other characters from the series are mentioned.

Red Headed Slut by D.Kinney

Red Headed Slut by D.Kinney

When Edward spots a gorgeous, yet shy man with golden hair at a party taking place at his home, he decides that he has to have him. Seducing men comes easily to Edward, so he knows this intriguing man will definitely fall prey to his charms in no time. After an incredible night together, Edward soon discovers that "Jay" is his reclusive neighbor from across the street; however, what really surprises him is the fact that he enjoyed Jay's company beyond the physical.

When I first read this story, I thought it was going to be a yummy PWP read. However, as the story progresses, I've been pleasantly surprised by the depth of emotion I feel from the characters. Edward's confusion and turmoil over his feelings for Jasper, which are completely foreign to him, is interesting to watch, and Jasper's quiet, kind and shy nature melts my heart. I look forward to seeing how this story plays out and I encourage you to try it out as well!

Book Review: Emery's Ritches (Synchronous Seductions #2) by Havan Fellows

2.5 stars

In this sequel to Harlan's Ryde, Ritchie, Harlan's best friend, begrudgingly lets go of the love of his life when he convinces Harlan to rekindle his romance with Ryder. Throwing himself a pity party due to his unrequited love, Ritchie suddenly comes face-to-face with a sexy man who's hellbent on turning his life upside down and claiming him as his own.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as Harlan's Ryde probably because of Emery's arrogance and controlling nature. It was a little overkill and I felt like he tried to force a relationship upon Ritchie. The two men definitely had a physical attraction for each other, but I wasn't convinced there was anything else to their relationship besides that. One minute they're arguing, the next they're having sex and soon after saying I love you. I just didn't feel an emotional connection like I did in Harlan and Ryder's story.

He's Blue by Jasper-is-hot

He's Blue by Jasper-is-hot

Jasper has just come out of the closet to his family and closest friend, Bella. He's also been crushing on the most popular guy in high school, and star football player, Edward. When Edward suddenly starts hanging around him and Bella and reveals that he would like for Bella to pretend to his girlfriend, Jasper doesn't know what to think. How will he be able to watch his best friend and the man of his dreams pretend to be in a relationship every single day without falling apart?

This is very cute story that will bring a smile to your face. Jasper and Bella are really adorable with their dorky nature, but you soon see them blossom as they become part of the "cool" crowd, thanks to Edward, who has a few secrets of his own. He and Jasper have to carefully navigate their growing feelings for one annother without revealing their true nature to their judgemental and fickle friends.

Book Review: Harlan's Ryde (Synchronous Seductions #1) by Havan Fellows

Harlan and Ryder dated for six months in college. Due to his insecurities, Ryder cheated and effectively broke Harlan's heart. Seven years later, Ryder is more determined than ever to win back Harlan after he made such a mess of their relationship the last time.

Even though the characters made me want to scream and rip my hair out, I quite liked this short story. Ryder was a cocky bastard, but somehow the author managed to make me feel sorry for him at various points in the story. I was naturally on Harlan's side due to him being the hurt party, so his pain really broke my heart. I think I most liked the fact that this story really made me feel the emotions of the characters so vividly. The scene in which Ryder ties up Harlan in an effort to keep him quiet and prevent him from running away before hearing him out made me a little uncomfortable, but fortunately it didn't last very long.

Don't Stop by morrissey is god

Don't Stop by morrissey is god

When Edward and Carlisle happen upon a starving and nearly insane Jasper in the woods and invite him to share their lifestyle, he reluctantly accepts. He's grateful to the two vampires for their kindness and guidance, but he doesn't understand Edward's feelings of disgust towards him. Jasper believes that Edward feels he's truly a monster, but Edward's feelings are actually quite different. Will Jasper be able to gain Edward's acceptance or will Edward continue to allow his insecurities and shame hinder him from having something truly wonderful with Jasper?

This is a sweet one-shot in which two vampires experience a journey of self-discovery and revelation. Jasper's hopelessness in himself will break your heart, but Edward and Carlisle's support will warm it as well. Definitely check out this story to see if Edward and Jasper get their HEA!
