Everyday by whatiknew

Everyday by whatiknew

Kurt's just been in a horrible accident has been in coma for weeks. His husband, Blaine, is at his wit's end because Kurt's doctors feel it would be best to take him off life support. How can Blaine let go of the man he's loved since high school?

At the last possible moment a miracle occurs, but Kurt wakes up thinking he's still a freshman in high school....and 14-years-old. He remembers nothing of his friendship, courtship and marriage with Blaine.

This story is awesome! Emotionally charged and realistic, whatiknew, puts Kurt, Blaine and readers through the ringer. Blaine's unwavering patience with Kurt and his memory loss will make you want to wrap him up in a big hug, and Kurt's frustration at not remembering someone who is so important to him will break your heart. Don't worry, this story isn't all heartache and angst. There are some really sweet and light moments as well. Definitely give this story a try! You won't be disappointed.

Someone Like You by iconicklaine

Someone Like You by iconicklaine

Kurt and Blaine have been close since their days at Dalton Academy. Both harbored for feelings for each other, but there were always circumstances, and romantic partners, that got in the way. When they randomly run into each other in New Mexico, old feelings resurface and explode. Will they finally have the relationship they've always wanted or will they be doomed to unrequited love?

Well-developed and filled with twists, turns, angst and romance, Someone Like You is a great story for all Klaine lovers. I really enjoyed how well rounded each of the characters, both canon and original, were written, and felt myself rooting for Blaine and Kurt even when obstacle after obstacle was placed in their way. The icing on the cake was the music that accompanied chapters, setting the tone and putting the reader in the correct mindset for the chapter to come. Definitely check it out!

Always the Best Man by Water_Nix

Always the Best Man by Water_Nix

Weddings. For most people they're wonderful occasions full of celebrating and fun. However, for Kurt and his rag tag group of friends, they're opportunities to make fun of the guests and get as drunk as possible. Due to his less than stellar relationship history, Kurt doesn't really believe in all that "death do us part" mumbo jumbo. As long as he has his friends by his side, especially Blaine, he'll be just fine.

This Glee version of Four Weddings and a Funeral (without the funeral) was a sweet read that I really enjoyed. All of your favorite Glee characters are there to bring the laughs and the relationship between Kurt and Blaine will really melt your heart.

Prince by BadgerInMySoup

Prince by BadgerInMySoup

As a child, Kurt was enamored with Disney princes. He loved how they would sweep princesses off their feet, and the fact that they were always kind and good. He knew that one day he'd marry a prince of his very own. Years later, his prince appears in the form of a kindhearted singer from Dalton Academy.

This short story is adorable! Most of it focuses on Kurt's childhood, but by the end of the story, you'll have a goofy smile on your face and a new hope in romance and fairytales.

Reunion by slightestwind

Reunion by slightestwind

When Kurt transferred back to McKinley High, he lost touch with his crush, Blaine Anderson. Years later, fate brings them back together in New York City.

I really enjoyed this short one-shot about two sweet guys getting a second chance at love. Cute and fluffy, this story will give you the warm and fuzzies and believe that truly anything can happen in NYC.

Steps by dreamingkate

Steps by dreamingkate

After a tragic accident, Kurt and Blaine's lives are forever changed. Things that were once so easy are now difficult, tiring and painful; testing their relationship and love for one another.

Wow! What a story! dreamingkate warns readers that this one-shot is full of angst and difficult topics like self-hatred and thoughts of suicide, and by the end of this story I felt completely raw emotionally. However, this is journey about self-discovery, self-worth and hope. Even though it has it's tough moments, there is also a ray of hope that warmed my heart. Definitely check out this incredible one-shot!

Music When the Lights Go Out by stjimmyjazz

Music When the Lights Go Out by stjimmyjazz

Blaine and Kurt have a seemingly perfect marriage. They have two great kids, live in nice apartment in New York and have great jobs. The only problem is that the two men have been drifting apart for some time now. They've each allowed life, petty arguments and growing resentments get in the way, and because of those things a huge divide has grown between them. When a serious emergency occurs, their relationship is tested and comes close to the brink. Will they be able to move forward and work on their marriage or end it once and for all?

This story is awesome! It's not your normal, happy-go-lucky, rainbows and unicorns love story. There is a lot of angst, pain and heartache. I experienced a myriad of emotions while reading this short story: sadness, confusion, frustration, anger and disbelief. I don't want to give away too much of the story because I really want you to read it for yourself. I'm confident that by the end you'll feel as though you've read a truly well written and well thought out story about two men who have to work hard to find their way back to one another. Highly recommended.

Hate Me by dreamingkate

Hate Me by dreamingkate

Whenever Kurt wants to shut down a disagreement or argument, he throws the cheating incident in Blaine's face. He is unaware how much this hurts his fiance and how the incident still deeply affects him to this day. Kurt's heart breaks when he overhears Blaine saying affirmations to convince himself he's not horrible person.

Wow! This is one angsty story! The emotions portrayed by both characters are so palpable that my heart literally hurt for Blaine and his feelings of self-loathing brought about by the person he loves most. I would definitely recommend this short story. It will tug at your heartstrings.

Kurt and Blaine's Costumes by chatterboxklaine

Blaine and Sam attend a Halloween party in which everyone arrives as one half of a well-known couple. Reluctantly Blaine agrees to the charade just to see who will turn up as the Kirk to his Spock. Needless to say, he's pleasantly surprised.

Very cute, fluffy and just in time for Halloween! Take a few minutes to read this delightful story! You won't be disappointed!

You're My Home by dreamingkate

You're My Home by dreamingkate

When he was five years old, Blaine was so severely beaten by his drunken father that he suffered brain damage. His older brother, Cooper, was determined to protect his little brother at all costs and take care of him as he grew up. Even though his motor skills aren't as fine tuned, his balance is a little off and it takes him longer to process things, Blaine is still a happy, kindhearted guy. When Kurt catches his eye one afternoon at the mall, he takes a chance and asks him out.

This story somehow manages to break and warm my heart at the same time. Blaine is such an innocent, sweet character that you can't help but root for him as he discovers his talents, abilities and desires. Kurt is
Blaine's knight in shining armor, sticking up for him when jerks try to bring him down and supporting him when he thinks he isn't good enough. I highly suggest reading this lovely story about perseverance, determination and personal growth!

Fairy Tales by dreamingkate

Fairy Tales by dreamingkate

Three years ago, Blaine was tragically killed in a train accident while on his way to celebrate his engagement to Kurt. Overcome with grief, Kurt moves to Paris where he tries to exist from day to day, all the while continuing to long for the love of his life. When he reads a story about a homeless man in New York who stands on a corner waiting for his fiance, Kurt wonders...could it be Blaine, but he was declared dead and buried with Kurt's heart. Kurt decides to travel back to New York to find out if this mysterious man could be the missing piece to his heart.

This short one-shot was lovely! It is a true fairy tale and will surely bring a smile to your face. Highly recommended!

Are You Ready for Me? by chatterboxklaine

Are You Ready for Me? by chatterboxklaine

Blaine is an established Broadway performer and Tony Award-winner who is preparing to embark on his first directing opportunity. While reviewing his script and notes, he decides to grab a bite to eat at a quaint diner known for its employees breaking out into song whenever the mood strikes. When his adorable waiter catches his eye with his good looks and sunny disposition, Blaine is determined to get to know the younger man better...and maybe even audition him for a role in his play.

Sweet, adorable and fluffy, this short story is everything you need for leisure reading on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the story ended way too soon for my liking, but hopefully chatterboxklaine will write a sequel sometime in the future. I would love to find out what happened between Blaine and Kurt!

Sacrifice for Love by Jesssy

Starting at a new school, Blaine encounters all of the obligatory problems: not knowing his way around, trying to fit in amongst strangers, and just trying to graduate. However, he has an added obstacle. Due to a birth defect, he must walk with crutches and his legs never quite work the way he wants. Too much exertions tires him out and he has an overly protective mother who doesn't want him to do much of anything out of fear that he'll be hurt. Blaine soon becomes friends with Kurt Hummel, who tries his hardest to shield him from the ignorance and ugliness of his peers. As their feelings for one another grow stronger, Kurt must face the fact that he can't always be there to protect Blaine, no matter how much he wishes he could.

What a lovely story! Jesssy writes each character, both good and bad, in such a way that you want to cheer for them, hug them or strangle them. Such a variety of feelings were elicited through this story, and I find that to be the sign of a truly great story. Definitely check it out!

It's Not Babysitting by anxioussquirrel

It's Not Babysitting by anxioussquirrel

Kurt, Cooper and Sebastian are a close-knit circle of friends living their lives in fabulous New York City. When Cooper's teenaged brother, Blaine, comes to visit for the summer due to issues at home, all hell breaks loose...at least for Kurt. He's immediately attracted to the adorable guy, but refuses to pursue anything because he's Cooper's little brother and he's ten years younger. Will Kurt and Blaine be able to put their fears and insecurities aside for potential happiness?

This has to be one of the best fanfic stories I've read, period. All of the characters are well-developed and seem to jump off the page with their varying personalities. Even though the main focus of the story is Kurt's relationship with Blaine, there are other subplots that are just as interesting, but don't take away from what everyone was to see: Kurt and Blaine happy and in love.

I also appreciated that Kurt and Blaine's relationship isn't perfect. They both have their issues and must work on them in order to be good partners for each other. I definitely recommend this lovely story to any and everyone! :)

Hard Lines by adiwriting

Hard Lines by adiwriting

Blaine has been doing some really strange things lately, but the worst of all was cheating on his boyfriend, Kurt, and ruining their seemingly perfect relationship. Headaches, black outs and fainting spells put Blaine in the hospital with doctors trying to determine the cause. However, when the worst possible prognosis is discovered, will Kurt be able to push through the hurt, anger and resentment and support his ex at such a scary time?

This is one of my first forays into this fandom and I have to say that I'm quite pleasantly surprised by this story. It's very tense, emotional, sad and angst-ridden, but I couldn't stop reading. It will be interesting to see the former couple's dynamic as Blaine not only deals with his mortality, but also the guilt associated with hurting the love of his life. I would highly recommend reading this great story!

p.s. The author assures readers that there will be no character death. :)
