I thought this was a delightful and fresh take on the classic Charles Dickens story, A Christmas Carol. I enjoyed reading a continuation of the story from Peter's point of view and how he navigates through life and love. If you're looking for a quick and interesting Christmas read, this is the one for you!

Alec finds himself watching over Magnus much like he did many years ago when Magnus pretty much died in his arms at the Institute. Fortunately, his husband is only suffering from a common cold and will be back to his old self very soon. While resting, Magnus remembers his time in the Institute's infirmary and what he noticed around him.

This is a really heartwarming story. I don't want to give too much away, but your heart will melt at Alec's sweet reassurances and declarations of his unwavering love. Definitely give this story a try!

If you need a refresher for the scene Magnus mentions in the story.
Just remember, Magnus is perfectly okay and living happily with his husband. 😃💜🖤

I really enjoyed this story! Since it's tentacletober, I've read quite a few stories featuring tentacles and this is by far one of my favorites! It's sweet, fluffy, intense and just plain good. Give it try!

Graduation is behind them and Magnus and Alec soon find themselves awaiting their roommate assignments for college. Even though they're attending the same university, things won't be the same for the couple. Since they were small children, they've lived within yards of each other, so the thought of potentially living across campus from one another is daunting. However, when Magnus receives the name of his roommate, he can hardly believe his eyes. Never has random selection been so perfect!

The author wrote this chapter in a month-long anthology of fluffy Shadowhunters stories and, so far, this is my favorite. It's just so darn cute! Definitely give this a try. It will leave you wanting to see more...in the best way possible.

Book Review: All or Nothing by Riina Y.T.

The sparks of attraction fly in the safety of Carter’s car, where they share heartfelt confessions along with body heat and gummy bears. When they check into a motel for the night, their electrifying bond deepens, and their shared time might just bring Remmy and Carter the Christmas surprise they could only have dreamed of.

This is a sweet, feel-good story about two guys who have been crushing on each other for a long time and finally get to confess their feelings when they travel together and are eventually stuck with one another during a snow storm. I really enjoyed the likeable characters and seeing their relationship develop. If you're in the mood for a quick, heartwarming read, this is the book for you!

This is a beautiful story that I believe will be greatly appreciated by fans. Magnus and Alec sit down and actually talk about everything. Not only is the process cathartic for the two main characters, but also for the readers. There are certainly heartbreaking moments in this story, but always keep in mind that Magnus and Alec love each other immensely and are married and embarking on a new life. You won't be disappointed in this wonderful story of love, healing and forgiveness.

As some of you may have recognized, this fanfic is inspired by the movie Sweet Home Alabama. I've only watched the film once, so I look forward to seeing how the author can weave our favorite Shadowhunters characters into the storyline. So far, I'm really enjoying the read! Book Review: Puzzle Me This by Eli Easton

Luke Shumaker begins receiving cryptic messages in the local newspaper's daily crossword puzzle that seem eerily aimed at him. Alex Shaw, a crossword puzzle writer, has had a crush on the game designer, and fellow neighbor, for a while and figures the messages would be an interesting and different way to get his attention. When the men finally meet, there is instant chemistry, but there is also one glaring obstacle: Alex is confined to a wheelchair. 

I thought this story was sweet and relatively uncomplicated. The chemistry between the MCs was great and I really enjoyed their humorous banter. I did feel that the requisite conflict/misunderstanding was little cliche, but the author didn't drag it out forever. Unfortunately, the ending came rather abruptly and left me wanting more to help tie things up completely.

Like many of Andrew Grey's books, I appreciated that Eli Easton incorporated towns and locations with which I'm familiar in rural Pennsylvania. It's always nice to read about these places in fiction and know that I can relate in some fashion.

When Magnus is unexpectedly asked onto the stage, he not only helps people in the audience understand the panel through his interpreting, but he also has the opportunity to get a much closer look at the actor he definitely does not have a crush on, Alec Lightwood! 😏

There are stories out there that just make you feel warm and happy and this is definitely one of them! It's still in its early stages, but if the first two chapters are anything to go by, we're all in for a great treat! QueenyClairey was inspired to write this story after seeing all of the fun that was had at the Shadowhunters conventions this summer. We all know that Shadowhunters did an excellent job when it came to representation and the author portrays another community that is still often overlooked in a thoughtful and respectful way. #RepresentationMatters 

Definitely check this one out! I highly recommend it!
