War is Where the Heart Is by peloquine
Agron has been returned to Nasir's arms after leaving him behind for battle. Will he be able to gain forgiveness from the man he loves most in the world, or will he be doomed to living out the rest of his days in regret and longing?
This story is filled to the brim with angst, but it gives a realistic view of the change in Agron and Nasir's relationship after Agron's return as a bruised and broken warrior. My heart broke for both Nasir and Agron, but the natural progression towards forgiveness is nice to watch. Definitely give this story a try! It's truly wonderful.
