Book Review: Connection Error (#gaymers 3) by Annabeth Albert

When Josiah sits next to Ryan on cross country flight to Washington, D.C., sparks fly and they have an instant connection. Both men are currently dealing with their own issues, Ryan is a double amputee trying to get back into active military duty and Josiah suffers from ADHD and a fear of stepping out on his own, so they have no time for a relationship, but they just can't help but be drawn to each other. Will their differences bring them closer together or push them farther apart?

Annabeth Albert's #gaymers series has been a win for me so far. We're three books in and I've enjoyed each one thoroughly. This story really tugged on the heartstrings while bringing attention to the different challenges, mentally, physically and emotionally, people face every day. Josiah is a complete sweetheart that I really rooted for, and Ryan was the perfect alpha male who can take charge and get things done, but also exhibit tenderness. There were certainly times when I wanted to shake each man, tell him to "snap out of it" and just talk, but watching their journey was all part of the fun. I highly recommend this book. It can be read as a standalone, but reading the previous two books will help you with some of the background characters.
