This is a really sweet, epic story that any fan of Free! would enjoy! All of our favorite characters stay pretty close to their canon personalities, and there is a wonderful mix of adventure, angst, romance, mystery and heat. Check it out!

Nitori leads a pretty mundane life. He's not exactly popular in school, mostly due to his love for astronomy, but he has great friends in Nagisa and Momo, so things aren't all that bad... However, he does harbor a small crush on one of the popular guys in school, Rin Matsuoka. Even though Nitori tries to fade into the background, someone has his (maroon) eyes on him.

I'm really enjoying this story so far. Nitori, as always, is the cutest! The story premise is not particularly new (popular guy falls for the adorable nerd), but it's sweet and has twists and turns to keep readers interested.

All I can say for this story is "awwwwwwww!" Nitori is so adorably awkward that you can't help but want to hug and protect him. The progression of his relationship with Rin is interesting to watch and I look forward to seeing how it turns out!

Nitori seems to be the exact opposite of everything he's known about vampires. He blends in well at school, he doesn't cause any problems and he doesn't even drink human blood. Rin actually likes the vampire. Will he be able to carry out his assignment or will he help his little kouhai avoid certain death?

Even though it's still in its early stages, I'm really fascinated with this story. Seeing Rin struggle to reconcile is feelings for his friend and his duty as a vampire hunter is quite interesting. Nitori, as always, is a little ball of sunshine that makes you want to hug him. Definitely give this story a try!
